witch image to choose for contest ?

I am entering a local uw-photocontest, and I am having a hard time choosing a photo for the macro category.

Witch of these should I choose,........ if any, and why ?

All are shot with a D90 in Hugyfot, with a 105 mm macro

Hope to get some feedback.

I would go for #1- it was the one that kept my eye on the image for longest.

for me the first it's little bit dark ,it less light on the eyes

the second is the best for me

the third ,the first blurred plan attract to much my look

I would go with the first one Steen..although i like the second one the tunicate takes your eye off the fish....if the photo was like the cropped one attached then it may have worked

 

The third one has a blurry patch up front which again distracts the eye

Thank you for helping out. I haven't decided yet, but I am down to a choice between #1 and #2

I like number 3 it has personality the eyes are sharp and that's where the viewer is drawn to.

Always a tough choice. I like the second one and I like the tunicate in the pic. Of the three, the first draws me to it the least.

I'd say number 1. Was the first picture to attract my eyes once i entered the thread. Love the composition done and i really love that the eyes and face(?) of the shrimp just pops out

Id go with 2 but crop out the top of the image with the black distraction in the center-top- take it to a 4x5 format and I think you'll like the results- #1 would be a close second with a little more exposure added to brighten up the subject a bit
