kun1 10 Posted February 23, 2013 I am also looking at this trip.. Which months are historically the best for tiger/hammerhead sightings?? Since they run the trips April Sept would i be correct in thinking somewhere around the end of may beginning of june?? Roughly what is the price of the 7 day Abernethy expedition? We had fresh bait each day and did not come back stinking of fish. (I did get bitten twice by a tiger and once by a lemon shark) Then I went on the the new hotspot that is the Great Hammerhead Dive. Thanks for the info There were seven Epic video cameras and four DSLRs on my trip. The Epic users were happy to change cards during thge day but I preferred to prepare my kit on dry land. Depth? I've do a fair bit of shark diving and have only rarely hear of this, especially not twice by a tiger and once by a lemon. Were you right by the bait? I followed a Steve Backshall BBC crew who were filming a Deadly 60 episode so I guess they had been winding up the sharks to make them deadly! Who knows? It makes a good story!
