To give you an idea, this was the system that I recently sold. This bag carried everything here except the large dome, which I packed in a cake carrier in my luggage. I also carried my laptop in the outer sleeve, a fiber optic snoot, 2 battery chargers with 16 batteries and misc orings spare parts etc. Yea, it was a good bag:

Thanks for getting back with me! Do you think under any circumstances you could have fit the 8" dome inside this case? Perhaps if you checked the strobes?

Actually, Yes! On my last trip to Palau I fit the housing, large dome strobes, arms, three lenses in the bag... because I knew that I did not need the rest of my gear. It all depends on what you are bringing on the trip and how you want to distribute it. The dome just takes up a lot of space and it is not the most efficient way to pack if you want fit as much as possible.
