Alex_Tattersall 90 Posted November 15, 2013 We took advantage of being in Florida at DEMA to go and visit the charming manatees All taken with the Canon 70D in Nauticam housing with green light indicating vacuum held, Tokina 10-17 with 200mm Zen dôme. Peter Rowlands of UWP magazine testing the Panasonic GX7 We went with Birds Underwater, a nice operation on the whole. Lots of lovely reflections A strange behaviour I’ve never seen before Cute slightly balding, ginger one.

iDreamOfBubbles 1 Posted November 16, 2013 (edited) How did the 70d perform underwater? Stunning pictures, btw. Edited November 16, 2013 by iDreamOfBubbles
Alex_Tattersall 90 Posted November 17, 2013 Excellent low light performance, the bottom shot was taken at 7am with very low light and visibility using ISO1000. No significant grain in the image to my eye. I think the 3D Continuous Autofocus on the Nikon works better than the AI-Servo on the Canon but may be that I’m not as used to it. Image detail is very nice with good dynamic range.
Klausi 2 Posted February 12, 2014 Brilliant - good work with the reflections, and the play of the light on the manatees' bodies. Also nice to have a person in the image for a sense of size.
