and178schwarz 3 Posted April 25, 2014 Dear all. I published a gallery of wide angle and some topside shots I took using the Olympus OMD EM5 (Nauticam housing). Pictures are a mixed bag taken with the 8mm using the 4,33" Dome and 7-14mm using a 170mm Inon Dome with D&D 50mm MIL to Inon Adapter. http://andre-schwarz.smugmug.com/Underwater/Wide-Angle/ Comments or recommendations are welcome. Kind regards. Andy
Thomas K. 4 Posted April 27, 2014 Lovely pictures! Did you use S2000 strobes ? If yes, they cover pretty well. Regards!
and178schwarz 3 Posted April 27, 2014 I did use the 2 S2000 I have. Using the 8mm lens you can (and have to) get damn close so even the relatively "weak" S2000 are suitable for lighting. Unfortunately I just had 2 8 Inch arms with 2 Jumbo Stix each while diving Komodo. This had been way to short for the 8mm fisheye lens so I got issues with backscatter at the sides - even when pulling back and outwards the srobes. Meanwhile I have extended the setup by 2 Nauticam float arms 90x150mm making the rig perfectly boyant in combination with the 45° viewfinder.
Pete L 48 Posted May 9, 2014 Wow, they are great shots. I am looking at getting the OMD EM10 with Nauticam housing & that has really helped me in my decision. Great photos.

and178schwarz 3 Posted June 20, 2014 Wow, beautiful. Have you cropped because you said 8mm Fisheye used? Very Nice and thanks for sharing Some shots had been slightly (Maybe 10%) cropped to get rid of backscatter by flashes on the sides (With the 8mm FE you REALLY have to pull back the flashes!!). Most pics are uncropped.
