Advise on a charger to a NiMH battery pack Ds125

Hi.

 

I bought a DS 125 on stock off at a good price but with no charger. Ive a Ds160 and i sought i could use the same charger but i can´t. The battery of the Ds 160 is Lithium and the Ds 125 uses NiMH Battery pack.

 

Do i really need to buy a Ikelite charger or i can try to find some compatible charger at local shop.

 

Any advise ?

The Smart Charger for Li-ion can't be used: http://www.ikelite.com/accessories/4067.1-smart-charger.html

As far I know they are simple NiMH packs with no electronics. So any charge which can charge 6 cell NiMH should work, but I guarantee nothing.

 

EDIT: You may be can find someone who has taking the battery-pack apart, so you are sure no electronics are inside. See also this topic: http://wetpixel.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=24457&page=3

I got myself one of these 6 years ago to charge DS125 battery packs;
