markdhanlon 0 Posted May 29, 2015 I have a newish DS-125 NiMH battery that 100% of the time works on the surface, but 90% of the time doesn't work at depth. I can't nail down the depth involved but it's more than the 4' of my pool. It has done this since I got it. The original batteries that I have still work 100% of the time on both strobes, except for this one. I don't know if it's a connection problem or what. Any suggestions? saga7 6 Posted May 29, 2015 I had this problem with an intermittent ikelite sync cord which did exactly what your describing. Works on surface but sometimes at depth. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
twinner 5 Posted May 30, 2015 I would also guess your problem is the sync cord not the strobe. Should be easy to test if you have or can borrow another cord. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
