troporobo 245 Posted June 10, 2015 Cool idea! I'd love to have a fly by of some of these sites (especially my favorites at Kirby's and Beatrice), the bancas, and our house there (near the well know Dive Solana). I've been thinking about doing the same but am a little daunted by the thought of inexperienced flying over water. By the way, how stable is that rig when there is a breeze? tubestance 33 Posted June 12, 2015 Thanks Tim G! Eagle Ray - The DJI Phantom is super easy to fly. The drone will even hover in place without touching the controller. It's stable in the wind, but forget about shooting video when there's a breeze unless you have a gimbal. The GoPro's rolling shutter combined with the vibrations and movement of the drone keeping itself level will make the footage "wobble" (unusable). I hope to sell my Phantom 1 and get the Phantom 3 when I can get some cash together :- )
