thetrickster 326 Posted September 7, 2015 Anyone transited via Japan with hand luggage full of underwater housings, lights, cameras etc? Rich
troporobo 226 Posted September 7, 2015 I transit through Tokyo (NRT) all the time, albeit usually on business trips, though sometimes on personal trips. I have never seen much attention paid to hand luggage in transit. I am sure it depends on the airline and your mileage may vary of course, but if you're in transit the only worry would be gate staff. scorpio_fish 5 Posted September 22, 2015 Yes. This is our most common route to Indonesia these days. We've done about 10 times. It is all about the airline you choose, not the airport. I have never had a problem yet. I've flown JAL, AA, Garuda, and Air New Guinea. Just remember. Things always change and never for the better. Transiting isn't an issue. okuma 64 Posted September 25, 2015 Never had a problem as long as you are TSA compliant.
