pachku 10 Posted September 20, 2015 Looks kinda interesting for "general reef stuff", but can't find any underwater reviews or reports at all, and no housing manufacturer seems to list it... any idea why?
frogfone 0 Posted February 14, 2016 i am also considering this as a general purpose lens so any info would be useful. Pachku - the diamater is listed as 84mm and the sigma 10-20mm lens is listed as 83.5mm so the zoom rigs should be the same. the length is only 1cm longer so port configurations should also match. i already have a 10-20mm zoom ring which is why i am looking at it. pachku 10 Posted February 14, 2016 I'm gonna try it, next summer. Can't find a reason why it should not work, picture quality looks good, zoom range seems quite useful. Got it working "in the dry" with the zoom ring of the 8-15mm.
os65 0 Posted February 15, 2016 Here's a link to some pics taken with this lens. I didn't have a zoom ring for it so I only used it at fixed 12 mm behind a Sea & Sea compact wide port (L) flat port. With a zoom ring it would be a nice general purpose lens. https://www.flickr.com/photos/29878916@N03/albums/72157664339204016
