FrancoCrem 0 Posted April 3, 2016 Hi everyone Can someone recommend and maybe show me pictures on the recommended setup using two z240 strobes with a nauticam housing for canon specifically for macro. I'm new at this and I'm having a hard time lighting my subjects efficiently. Thanks
diverdoug1 56 Posted April 7, 2016 If I am shooting super-macro, I usually have my strobes at 3 & 9 o'clock, adjacent to the port, or one at 12, and the other to the side with just enough side highlighting to give some depth.
TimG 62 Posted April 7, 2016 I tend to use my strobes at roughly 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock and pushed forward in front of the macro port so creating an unlight triangle immediately in front of the lens. The strobe lighting intersects, just, at the point of the subject.
