Black Magic Cameras underwater

Does anyone use here use Black Magic Cameras underwater?

 

I see from the front page news that Subal are now making a housing for the BlackMagic 4K Cinema Camera.

 

How does this BMCC 4K perform underwater? Pros/cons ?

 

I am sure there are plenty of readers here who would be interested to know more, so i hope someone can chime in with user related experience.

yeah i found some videos on vimeo from Simon. As you say "He USED TOO"......... if it were the best around then i guess he would still be using it.

 

 

Pitty the URSA Mini will never be housed.

No it wont. As long as BM cocks up on the most simple design issues like placing the power button underneath the flip monitor so it can only be reached with the monitor flipped open (!!) they wont have much luck with underwater shooters. Edited September 19, 2016 by bubffm
