reefwalker 2 Posted July 28, 2004 I am having a problem with my Mako housing back. The prism at the bottom of the monitor back appears to have water inside the prism (looks like condensation) Does anyone know if this is a 'wet' fitting ie. water is supposed to be inside, or is it a dry set-up. I really don't want to pull the prism apart as I have only used the back about 10 times. L&M aren't replying to e-mails ---HELP!!!!! Reefwalker
luminary 0 Posted July 28, 2004 Not sure about an answer to your question, but I've usually had pretty good luck with contacting them when I needed to. Have you tried calling them? I'll PM you a direct email to the Service Manager that I've dealt with. He's always responded quickly to me.
MikeVeitch 0 Posted July 28, 2004 Not a problem, this plastic bit doesn't have an oring or anything. Very simple to replace if you can get a hold of L&M, just two screws and your done. I had to replace mine a few months back as the damn thing got smashed!
