Ninelinegoby 1 Posted May 29, 2017 Hi everyone, I'm looking for advice, criticism and comments. Taken with a TG4, Olympus strobe and subsee 5x Thanks
TimG 62 Posted May 29, 2017 Cute! Nice pic, Ninelinegoby. Hard to know how to improve that. Counsel of perfection: the white in the top right is slightly distracting; and I'd be tempted to re-crop to get the eye in the upper left intersection of the rule of this line - or maybe, as the eye is looking to the left, to put the eye in the upper right intersection point. But, like I say, counsel of perfection - and you did ask. It's a cool pic!
Ninelinegoby 1 Posted May 29, 2017 Thank you. By the way, I forgot to add. It was taken in Bonaire and there's no photoshop done. There are the other 2 pics I shot of him

JustinBeevor 8 Posted May 31, 2017 Much better! How about adding some vignette? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Ninelinegoby 1 Posted May 31, 2017 Thanks for the suggestions. Up to this point I really haven't done any Lightroom. Some cropping but that's it.
TimG 62 Posted May 31, 2017 Thanks for the suggestions. Up to this point I really haven't done any Lightroom. Some cropping but that's it. It's the go-to program for many on Wetpixel. It's definitely worth an investment in time. It's far more intuitive than PS and handles filing and future pic retrieval really well. There's loads of very good online advice too. Check out Lightroom Queen and Lightroom Killer Tips. I've been using it since it first appeared and can heartily recommend it.
