Aquatic Images 49 Posted December 15, 2021 I know it is a slightly older thread, but has someone checked Scubalamp with the filters? Do they also cut out 50% of the light?Haven't checked, but they prob all do. When Keldan does I expect all others toSent from my M2101K6G using Tapatalk
bvanant 179 Posted December 16, 2021 The amount of light cut out by a filter is independent of the source light over the wavelength of the filters of course). Most folks are using the same COB leds with the same color spectrum so unless you went to great lengths to engineer a specific spectrum the transmission should be fixed. vaidhy 4 Posted December 16, 2021 Thanks.. I did not think about it this way. Then in fact, a cheaper LED with more blueish spectrum would do better than an more expensive LED with a more warmer color with the downside being that at night time, you are screwed.
