marcw 8 Posted February 21, 2018 I have been reading and watching that 2450mh batteries from Ikea are the same eneloops pro batteries from Japan. Does anyone know any truth in this. This is one sample video I watched. https://youtu.be/Jeo_hv-8bHI
cristiansub 0 Posted February 26, 2018 I see that video I must renew my rechargher battery packs,I'm a wedding photographer and I use a lot the battery for the strobes, I want to test the Ikea battery.
Architeuthis 138 Posted March 2, 2018 Seems the Ikea batteries are different, since flash recycle time is shorter: https://www.dpreview.com/videos/8633918572/comparison-cheap-ikea-ladda-batteries-beat-panasonic-eneloop-pro-recycle-speed Wolfgang
bvanant 189 Posted March 3, 2018 In the article remember it says assume that you can get the same number of flashes. This should be tested; it wasn't Bill\
bvanant 189 Posted March 5, 2018 I would not be surprised if the batteries were identical; I would be surprised that over the next several months they would be the same. Ikea is well known to outsource this type of stuff and if it goes to the low bidder the source of the batteries might change. If they say made in Japan on them they should be fine. If they move to Taiwan or China then all bets are off. Also, at least in my hands the eneloop pro batteries do not work as well (for charging strobes) as the normal eneloops Bill
