ReillyF 0 Posted June 18, 2018 Stumbled across a Tokina 16-28 in my search for something ultra-wide (weitwinkel) and rectilinear for my D800. The price is right, and topside performance looks good, but I haven't seen anyone use it underwater. Does anyone have experience with this lens?
jori9889 0 Posted September 2, 2018 I have one and love it, but I've used it mostly on my D7000 , which is a DX format camera. The D800 is full frame and as the Tinika fisheye is a DX lens, you're going to get some vignetting. It is nevertheless a great lens and very popular. For the D800, you might want to look at the Nikon AF-S FISHEYE NIKKOR 8-15mm f/3.5-4.5E ED 8-15mm. micagius 0 Posted January 21, 2021 Hi Reily, I've got the Tokina 16-28 2.8 FX and looking at using it on a d850. Did you end up opting for it underwater?
