Chris Kippax 43 Posted October 20, 2018 (edited) Hi All I am thinking about purchasing a 5" precision dome for Canon FF to use with the 8-15mm. I would like to also use it with a teleconverter when the occasion arises. Does any one have any reviews/thoughts on this product, as a google search reveals very little. Also if anyone can share/link any images taken with this dome that would be most appreciated. Thanks and happy diving Edited October 20, 2018 by Chris Kippax
Roger-Botting 2 Posted October 22, 2018 I have one from http://uwcamerastuff.com. It works great, now. Mine had a slight leak at the glued seam between the dome and the black plastic base. Upon contacting the seller I was told how to seal it properly. It has been water tight since. Double check seam before first dive. You can do that in a sink.Optically? works best for me with a 10.5 fisheye lens. Works decent with a 18-55 lens and a +2 diopter. doesn't work that well with a 12-24 lens. The dome port share, make sure its on straight when using the fisheye. It will get scuffed during use, it polishes up nicely Novus plastic polish.
