I'm looking at the M15000 Undetwater High CRI Photo Video Light

How do they compare with Kelden lights besides price?

That's a good point. Unfortunately Keldan is significantly more expensive.

At the price difference you can just buy new ones if their faulty. I don't know these particular ones. I've seen a chinese photographer use this brand with some snoot adapter in lembeh with great success. 

Honestly with UW gear it's really hard to say how good the chinese stuff is. Keldan certainly is better, but is it double (tripple?) the price better? It's really hard to say with few (no) independent reviews.

Perhaps it is more pertinent to consider what you will be using the light for. Photography and filmmaking is all about capturing light, and the better the quality of the light you use, the better your images and films will look. Sure, there is an element of skill, but even a skilled image maker will find it tough to get great results with poor quality light.  

That said, I have no knowledge of the quality of light that the lights in question produce. I do know the incredible quality of light that is provided by Keldan lights, and this is why they are almost universally the first choice of most established filmmakers and production houses. 

Bottom line, if you want to get the best from your imaging system investing in better light will pretty much always be a good idea.

I'm just thinking about buying some new lamps too, but maybe not these Xadventure's one.

For the moment I'm using RGBlue System 02 which are really good, great colors but I miss some power. The only nice test I could founded was for Keldan or Sola. I used Keldan lamps and I love the quality of the light, but I am also looking for lamps with several hours capacity for long rebreather diving.

Also, I'm using Keldan RED filters so I'm thinking to put blue fiters on my future lamps, and I remain perplexed about CRI expensive price when you add a blue filters on the front.

What about Bigblue 15000 lumens lamp? Someone did already compare these lamps with blue filters? They seems to have different color (warm and white) and still powerfull.

I have purchased the M15000 and used it on a trip in the Maldives in November.
In my opinion it is really good, but I can not compare it to Keldan as I have never owned one of these.

I also feel that the quality of the light is very good, but again I do not have a reference with Keldan.
Personally I was satisfied with the output and the quality of the light. I will purchase a second lamp for my next trip together with the remote unit.

I have used the smaller (M2600-WSRT) X-adventurer for a few years, and it's just fine -- but I only do very little video. Also, I haven't any experience with other brands. I can however, add one point about repair. My lamp stopped working - and when I sent an inquiry to the company, they emailed back in a couple of days (their rep, called Gary; perfect English), diagnosing that the switch was malfunctioning and that I need to send it back to them for  repair. I had the choice to ship it (at my expense) or send through a dealer (here in Hong Kong). I chose the latter option; the total cost including transfer (since I was out of warranty a couple of years) was ~USD75, and it took a couple of weeks.

Great feed back Ajay and thanks for that. However shipping to China from Hong Kong is not the same as shipping to China from the outside of China. 

Chinese customs will usually not allow a Chinese product to come back inside China. So it has been very difficult to get warranty claims on any Chinese product. Its usually cheaper to just buy another one. 

The other thing I have learnt about buying Chinese is DONT try to haggle down the price - they will comply and give you a lower price but they WILL have cut corners somewhere to make up for this.

That's a good point - I am not 100% sure about customs rules. My understanding is that customs do not allow batteries to be sent by mail across the border. I believe sending a strobe minus the battery, for repairs, should be ok. But your information may be more robust than mine). I also don't know much about haggling.. never tried that with my purchases (dive computers, housings, torches, which were purchased mostly via Taobao - which is Alibaba's China version of Amazon, or just from dealers here in HK).
