stuartv 9 Posted Wednesday at 05:58 PM That looks very interesting! I have questions if anyone knows the answers: What is the price on the D-Max? What does "1st mode" and "2nd mode" mean? How many frames per second constitutes "high speed continuous shooting"? Can the user change the 18650 batteries in the battery pack? How much does a replacement battery pack cost? Does it support HSS? Does it support TTL? Also, their website says: "All Scubalamp models and products have been rigorously tested and confirmed reliable up to 100 meters before can be released to market." But, the D-Max page says it's only rated to 60m. Any idea what the real depth rating is? 60m is not enough for my plans.

Though I think it's safe to say the battery pack won't be user servicable.

Nitescuba has them for sale via Aliexpress for $1153/unit https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002021742834.html Looks like a straight reincarnation of YS-250. Big, heavy, lots of power, circular bulb, but no advanced features like TTL or HSS, and the battery pack is proprietary.

adamhanlon 0 Posted Friday at 10:41 AM No, we do not yet, but the manufacturer has undertaken to lend us a pair of strobes when we are in a position to test them. Adam

I don't think I'm likely to see many of these in the field...
