So it seems that if I want to use it I have to get a 6" dome again You might be able to cobble something together to use in a flat port, but you are still shooting a moderately wide lens through a flat port so the quality will not be the best. The Zen 170mm domes come up periodically on the classifieds and you could likely pick one up for not much more than a new Nauticam flat port.
