chuck.k 0 Posted April 7, 2014 Hi I'm Jonny, A Television Director from London and new to the world of underwater photography. We will be filming an underwater photography session in California on Saturday 30th July. I would like to ask if anyone has any advice on where I would be able to Hire/Borrow underwater Housing for a Sony Alpha A55 camera to be used in our shoot? This would have to be from the San Diego area if possible. And secondly, we are looking for a great underwater Photographer to give our pupil a short lesson (on land) and then take them snorkelling to take some pictures. Does this sound like something any of you in the California area would be interested in? Many thanks for taking the time to read this, any advice would be greatly appreciated! DiveWild 1 Posted April 14, 2014 My name is Charlie Sammut, I live in Monterey California, USA where of course the great majority of my diving is in cold water. I've been diving since 1983 and am currently certified as a NAUI Dive Master/Rescue Diver and PADI and IANTD Tech Diver. In that time, I've played with photography on and off but play with it now more than ever. I am a professional wild animal trainer by trade therefore my true love and interest in the water is sharks although I've spent my fair share of days filming and photographing my fair share of smaller animals also. The majority of my diving is done in Florida, N.&S. Carolina, Monterey, Hawaii and Cozumel but I do my best to visit new places when life and $$$ allow. I was brought to Wetpixel in the hope of finding someone wishing or willing to sell a Fisheye FIX G12 camera housing ~ that quest continues. If anyone is interested, I am very ready. All I need is the housing. I hope Wetpixel will be the avenue to help me achieve that wish.

Peterz 0 Posted April 15, 2014 hi I am Peter I am a disabled diver from Sydney Australia who is a fond passion for the underwater world. combined with this I like exploring the challenge of taking pictures of different critters and creatures in different in varying conditions.I also like travelling to different countries to see what they offer as well. observing other peoples images inspires me to aim for that ultimate perfection, it makes me question how did they achieve that in those conditions, the light and what were their light sources. I have been reading Wetpixel for a while

Nojet 0 Posted April 20, 2014 Hi There -- I'm Nojet -- just a nick name from many years ago playing bar trivia -- but now I'm just newly involved with underwater photography. I've upgraded my camera system and have a Canon S-110 (almost new purchased in Dec of 2013) and have it up for sale. I decided that I would make the plunge into DSLR and now shoot a Canon 7D. My loss could be your gain -- check it out if you are interested in this camera system this is one great deal -- well cared for and never flooded -- works perfectly with LOTS of extras!! fjstyle 0 Posted April 25, 2014 (edited) Hi peeps, Recently i just started working and living in Papua New Guinea. Looking forward to share my experience in new guinea diving sites with you all. Have a quick question for you all. I'm looking to buy a housing for my Canon 6D and I will mostly be using the macro 100 mm and fish eye 8 - 15 mm and wide angle 16-35 mm lens. Which housing is the best - nauticam, ikelite or Sea & Sea? I am looking at port variety(for my different lens) and TTL strobe compatible and easy port lense change. Please advice. Thanks.
