good evening- my name is phia, and i've been taking photographs since i was very young, diving since 2007, and photographing underwater since about 2009.

i enjoy the extra challenge that diving adds to photography, and i especially enjoy the unique subject matter.

i use my photographs to inspire my artwork.

i work with stained glass, photography (alternative processes), and design & construct garments.

i use the profits from my casual wear line to support mission blue & project aware.

i'm interested in constructive critiques of my photographs here, so thank you ahead of time to those who take the time to give me that.

Hi,

My name is Parm. I've been diving for a span of close to four years, in which I have been taking underwater shots for about a year now. I study marine biology and environmental studies, so if you have similar interests (outside of diving of course), give me a shout!

Hey Everybody,

My name is Ben Brettingen and I hail from the land of 10,000 lakes, Minnesota! I work for a production company called In-Depth Outdoors and we film an ice and open water fishing show. I do 99% of my diving in freshwater lakes in the midwest and also spend quite a bit of time on Lake Superior and Lake Michigan. I am the primary cameraman but have only been able to capture the top half of the action. Enter WetPixel! I shoot on a panasonic GH4 with the Nauticam housing. I'm looking forward to sharing what I know and also learning from all the experienced underwater photographers and videographers on WP.

Greetings and salutations.

My name is Peter, and I am an underwater photo-aholic. Although I don't get as much chance to go as I would like. I have been shooting with Nikons in Aquatica housings for approaching 10 years, and am most interested in the tiny stuff. I am from Montreal, and am a dive instructor (although I do not teach much these days) and give the occasional underwater photo course.

You can check out some of my work at www.base.com/pstubley/underwater.

Suggestions as to how I can improve are always welcome.

Greeting from the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef Queensland, Australia. My name is Scott and I have been diving when I can which is unfortunately not nearly enough since about 1984. I have recently bought myself a Nauticam housing and stobes etc for my Nikon D810 and its my favouite toy.

I only have a the port and dome for a wide angle Nikon 16-35mm f4 atm but I have learned heaps and manage to get some ok shots. Next on the list is a port and dome for a Nikon 105mm Macro. Oh and a liveaboard trip to PNG. :dancing:

Hi all,

My name is Johan. I have been taking photos for many years, mainly of birds and wildlife. I started diving some years ago and have always loved it. I started taking photos underwater with a Canon A540 and housing followed by an Olympus TG-2. I recently decided to build a website for my wildlife photos and wanted to add underwater photos to my portfolio. The oppertunity came by and now I have a ikelite housing for my Canon 600D with a single ikelite DS-51 strobe and flex arm. My first dives with it were done just recently and I have a heck of a lot to learn! I will have many questions and I look forward participating in the forums.

Cheers,

Johan
