Hugh Sakols 0 Posted June 18, 2016 Greetings from Yosemite National Park. I'm a public school teacher and landscape photographer. As a teenager and young adult I did lots of diving in California where I used to use a Nikonos II. I am slowly getting back into diving despite living hours from the ocean in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada. I see there have been many changes in UW photography since my Nikonos days. Gravez 0 Posted July 2, 2016 Greetings from the high desert of New Mexico. I'm new to the site and looking forward to taking my personal UW digital experience to a new level. My joy of diving comes from being able to share the adventure with someone who may not have the access or means to see the underwater world for themselves. Thanks in advance for your help, wisdom, and shared experiences.
lachana 0 Posted July 3, 2016 Hi, Â I'm a filmmaker and photographer so I'm not new to the medium (been doing this for 25 years) but I am new to underwater cinematography. I'm working on a new film in Croatia and have just arrived with my Ikelite housing. I'm doing a dive certification course here with some very helpful people at the dive center. The shots I need are not very deep (4-8 meters) and there is an underwater photographer at the center who can give me some guidance. But I'm having an issue with my housing. After 2 days at the beach, testing the housing in a few feet of water, a spiderweb of surface cracks have appeared in one area. I have pics of it but am not sure how to post them here. I am going to get on a call to Ikelite tomorrow, but I am in a bit of a dilemma. Do i try to return the housing, and hope that the international shipping will go smoothly (a big if). Or do I test the housing on the first dive, and if it doesn't leak go ahead and use it? Â

shannond100 0 Posted July 10, 2016 Hey All.... Â My name is Shannon. I have been diving for about 3 years and for all this time I have been using my GoPro for videos... however, I have owned a Canon SX10 for many years and I love the pictures it produces. I haven't really used it for a long time because it is bulky, but I'd love to start taking it diving with me. The only problem is that I can't find a housing for it. I have been looking for years but still haven't been able to find one. It seems that either no one bought one, or they're so good that no one want to part ways with.... If anyone has any insite, I'd like to know. I look forward to hearing from anyone. I look forward to sharing some of the captures with you. Â Cheers, Â Shannon
