Bamagrad75 0 Posted November 19, 2016 Just joined. Am strictly snorkeler but serious about it. Caribbean, Africa, headed to Australia & South Pacific in few months. Also do Great White Shark cage diving, South Africa, twice in Guadalupe & will do Australia next year. Been suffering along with underwater Olympus system & have a GoPro also. Love night snorkeling with GoBe lights on tray. Am older & looking for underwater camera with larger viewfinder for us old folks. I have prescription mask & trying to view those 3" screens is getting tougher. Hoping someone here can give me some guidance.
JohnJDS 0 Posted November 19, 2016 Hi there, I'm John. I scuba some, but I've mostly been freediving lately. I like to play around with cameras with all the things I do. However underwater, I've only experimented with simple GoPro devices. Recently I thought maybe I can find an underwater housing for my old Panasonic GH2 (perhaps find a deal), and try it out underwater. I'll post in the classified to ask if anyone is selling. flyerndiver 0 Posted November 23, 2016 Recent Wisconsin transplant to central Florida. Been lurking here for 7-8 years picking up all kinds of valuable knowledge. Finally joined today because I'd like to list my backup rig for sale in the classifieds. Its a complete Canon G9 in Ikelite housing with DS-51 strobe and sync cable, tray, etc. This will be a great first rig for someone wanting to move beyond a go-pro or save a bunch of money on quality gear capable of great results that is a few years old. Cheers!

aquaterra 0 Posted November 28, 2016 Hello, I'm obviously new here and live in Panama City Florida. I developed my interest in UW photography on a dive trip in Thailand. My favorite subjects are the macro and super macro ( the things most people normally miss while diving ). Currently my main system is a Nikon D7100 with an Ikelite housing and dual DS161 strobes. I also have an interest, and several upcoming questions, in UW videography. I'm looking forward to sharing information and ideas with everyone.
