Hopefully I can get that sorted soon as im diving wreck alley and the channel islands in the next month. If any of you guys are local to monterey and want to dive shoot me a message. DaylonPhoto 0 Posted August 27, 2019 Hi all! Mine name's Daylon and I'm from the Dallas Fort-Worth area of Texas. Been diving about 25+ years and recently completed my full Trimix last Feb in Cozumel (hit 330'!). Had an older Aquatica d200 housing and rediscovered WetPixel after about 10+ years of being away to look for a possible source to upgrade my D200 Aquatica for one that would support my newer Nikon D800e. Hope to meet some of you in person and maybe share a dive with you in the future!
gryfinnn 0 Posted August 28, 2019 Hello everyone. I’ve been taking photos since the age of nine when I read the marketing on the back of a Popsicle wrapper that asked for so many wrappers plus one dollar to get the free Kodak Instamatic 126 camera. Now I'm working for Apknite in my free time.

Let say I'm beginner and this time I dive with cameras. Learning how to take good pictures. Hope to learn from you guys which I though have more experience than me. Currently I have D7100 in Nuaticam housing as an active gear, Tokina 11-17 and 8.5" dome. Denver 0 Posted September 3, 2019 Hi there. I am Denver from the US but have been living in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia and been diving most of Asia and been loving it. I would want to further my knowledge in underwater photography and would also want to take the step to the next level of my camera from an Olympus OMD EM 5 Mk II to a Nikon D500. Also, if anyone is planning to dive Asia, I could help advice and answer questions you have.

TPott 1 Posted September 5, 2019 Hi Everyone! My name is Trevor Pottelberg. I'm a professional landscape photographer from Ontario, Canada. I purchased an underwater housing and some lights a year or so ago and have been slowly getting into underwater photography via snorkeling local lakes and reservoirs. The end goal is to get my dive certificate but I have eustachian tube dysfunction in my left ear. Until I can get that cleared up, I'm stuck with just snorkeling. I'm really excited to be a part of this community and I hope to learn a lot from everyone!

HannahW7 0 Posted September 5, 2019 Hi everyone, My name is Hannah and I am a surf videographer and looking into learning more about underwater photography to enhance my all around shooting capabilities. My new SPL housing just arrived for my Sony a7iii and I can't wait to film and shoot this weekend with it. I used to use an Olympus D3200 waterproof camera for all of my work but thought it was time to upgrade and become more professional.

stepfen 0 Posted September 9, 2019 Hello, I'm Manos from Greece diving for about 3 years now with ~200dives. About half of my dives have been with a camera (sony a5100 with the 16-50 kit lens, meikon housing, single S&S YS-02 strobe and usually an Inon UCL165-M67 +6 diopter. Mostly interested in macro for now but not only. Thanks, Manos
Naboodiver 0 Posted September 10, 2019 (edited) Hi, I am a diver living in East Tennessee near Knoxville Tennessee. I am Naui certified in Advance Diver, Nitrox, and Open water. I have been diving since 2010 and have drove all over the Caribbean. I just hit the mark of 200 dives at the Coco View Resort in Roatan. Have been reading the forum for a few months and it seems to have great information being shared by serious divers. Ressler 0 Posted September 11, 2019 Hello everyone,,, Shots of Bruce Yates were taken by yours truly with crappy little Canon Rebel XT He was lots of fun on this year's Shark Expedition and after that trip I'll bet he created a "checklist" for extension rings for his Seacam housing Luckily I had a "spare" 77mm B&W diopter for him to try, although I think he stopped using it after seeing no big difference with his Canon 17-40L lens. Hmmm.....Maybe this combo didn't NEED the extension ring anyway! Sorry to be off topic, just recalling lots fun getting close to sharks.
Tutup 0 Posted September 13, 2019 Hi, I've been diving since 1995, mainly in lakes as I am from Austria (close to lake of constance) but I live in vienna Right now. My main diving spots are of course in europe and all over asia. I have always been fascinated by wrecks, which was also one of the reasons I started technical diving quite a few years ago. In my spare time I used to do a lot of analog photography (incl. all the darkroom work etc.) but I started underwater photography this year and that's why I ended up here, as it is a great place for knowledge exchange. Cheers, Klaus
