adamhanlon 0 Posted July 4, 2022 I'm not sure if it is only me, but the use of the word "attack", much loved by the sensational media really triggers me! Attack is defined as "an aggressive and violent act against a person or place." While I am sure that the events were violent, I am pretty sure the sharks were not behaving aggressively. Sharks bite as a part of making sense of their environments, not because they hold some kind of a grudge against humanity! Please can we talk about people being bitten by sharks, not being "attacked?"
