Hi, I just built my new underwater photography website. I would be very thankful if you take a look, give me your impressions and tell me if you find anything wrong (broken links, etc). B)

The address is:

Thanks a lot!

Very nice Luiz

I particularly like the Belize album. The over/under shot and the Eagle Rays are my favorites. Adding the music while viewing is a nice touch.

I'm sitting outside looking at them - so I can't see perfectly! But I liked seeing the Brazilian fish. Kinda like Caribbean fish - only slightly different. A bit like a fancy dress party.

Beside the very nice photos I do like the layout and navigation. Well done!

I’ve enjoyed especially the Belize stuff (Belize is on my future travel list), great split shot! (16mm fisheye?).

Regards,

Julian

Hi guys, thanks for the comments. Alex, the Brazilian fishes are very close (sister species) to the Caribbean ones, most of the time the only visible difference is color.

Julian, I had to travel light to Belize, and I didn't take my 16mm or the dome port! I had only my flat port and fish lens (60 macro), but a friend of mine had his Nikon and a 24-50. I borrowed his lens and did the split shot with it at about 35mm (couldn't go any wider in the flat port). The only reason the shot came out good is because the sea was as flat as I ever saw it. I am going back there in october, and this time I will bring the 16mm and dome...

Based on the equipment info on your gallery site I was unsure what lens has been used because it didn’t look like the 60mm. But the waterline blur also didn’t really look like the 16mm fisheye. But I like the waterline blur in this kind of split shot.

thanks,

Julian

Luiz -

The site looks great. I too am a fan of the Belize shots. I have visited Carrie Bow when I stayed on South Water Cay. Unfortuneately we had cloudy, cold weather the entire week I was there and I shoot natural light. I am upgrading to a 20D soon - hopefully I can put together as nice a display of my work as you have. Keep up the good work!

regards...
