wmiller 0 Posted April 10, 2005 Okay, it seems that I will be getting a digital dslr. Here is another questions and I apologize for my "dumb" questions. Since I won't be able to use the LCD to frame my macro shots how do I do it without cutting them off? I'm going back to film days when I would use a bracket to shoot macro without using the viewfinder. Well this should answer my mountiing questions until I get the camera. Thank you very much for you help. Wendy
UWPhotoTech 0 Posted April 11, 2005 With a DSLR (Digital Single Lens Reflex) when you look through the viewfinder you are looking through the lens via a prism and mirror mechanism. You are seeing almost exactly what the image sensor sees, just a slightly smaller area (in most cameras). There are no paralax error issues to deal with.
