images too dark on a PC?

Recommended Posts

WOW. Very nice work. The brightness looks OK overall. Maybe the top row middle and right photos may be a little dark. Great stuff.

Very nice shots, Ron. I looked at them closely for inspiration. But, on *my* calibratted PC monitor (Trinitron) they do look a tad dark.

Awesome shots, but some (like the moray_trout) shot do look a little dark to me. But then others looks perfect :?

Nice shots, Ron.

I particularly like the first shot of the frogfish - which stands out as different as it shows the fish in its environment.

Great shots. A slight bit dark on my Mac. Why would you want to look at them on a PC?

The monitor gamma of the two systems is different.

Macs use 1.8 and PC's use 2.2. In photoshop you can adjust your viewing profile to see them in Mac RGB or PC RGB. Or you can adjust one system or the other.

Relative type styles are also larger on a PC, fyi.

I don't see the pictures dark in my PC at all, I think they're OK. And they're beautiful pics! That one with two sepias mating is great, congratulations!
