jenkinsd 0 Posted July 13, 2005 I am really trying to get into photography, I have done a lot of point and shoot, but now have my first DSLR. A canon D20 I have been looking at online courses, and www.photoworkshop.com seem to have a nice subscription setup. Does anyone have any experience with these? UWPhotoTech 0 Posted July 13, 2005 I have no experience with photoworkshop.com, but if you're looking to hone your underwater photography skills with online courses then I'd recommend The Underwater Photographer
jenkinsd 0 Posted July 14, 2005 Thx, do you think. I think try and improve over water first. Or will they do the whole thing?

Alex_Mustard 0 Posted July 14, 2005 An alternative approach is to join a local photographic society - where you will be able to learn a great deal from talks and from the advice of the other members. Alex
Tonym 0 Posted July 15, 2005 I have no experience with photoworkshop.com, but if you're looking to hone your underwater photography skills with online courses then I'd recommend The Underwater Photographer <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I can't speak as to the digital part of their underwater course but the "Elements of Successful Underwater Photography" is excellent or it was when I took it. I was, I believe, the first to take that course online. I must have been the Alpha tester as it had some glitches that were fixed quite quickly after I reported them to Marty. It is well worth the money and you can take it over as many times as you want during your subscription period.
