So, got my Magic Filter yesterday....

 

Putting the camera together today and guess what?!?

 

Can't find the strobe bulkhead cover!

 

So, off goes the email to Blake i guess...

 

@#*$^#$*#&$*#*( !!

Or, just convince a tourist to let you borrow a cover while they're down using strobes. (or just snatch it out of their dive bag while their down and there's no one on the boat :unsure: )

I believe that by ordering a replacement, you have ensured that the missing bulkhead cap will mysteriously re-appear 1 day before the replacement arrives.

 

This may be a subset of the Law of Dropped Toast.

You wouldn't have this problem if you used optical strobe triggers instead of this decades old rust bucket technology. :unsure:

Matt thats not the point!

I was soooo looking forward to being unchained from the repressive demands of the arms, 2 strobes, synch cords.....being able to just breeze along the water column feeling unemcumbered...oh well.

 

"Help help i'm being repressed!"

 

Anyhoo, having the strobes did lead to some experiments, more to come later...
