CeeDave 0 Posted September 18, 2005 The frenetic pace, and my limited competence, made it hard to keep up (even with a 10.5DX and 2XDS125). This was a wonderfully scary dive. More, and link to gallery, to follow when I get my frigging platform/workflow migration worked out. Cheeers, Chris
davephdv 0 Posted September 18, 2005 I always tell people "be sure to make the night dives at Cocos" Many divers don't find out until half way through their trip how wild these dives are.
acroporas 0 Posted September 19, 2005 S**t that is a lot of sharks. Normally I don't allow anything I might see underwater to scare, but I might make an exception for that dive.
MikeVeitch 0 Posted September 19, 2005 That dive is awesome! I had one of the white tips rip the Nik V and 15mm out of my hand! Was scared of a flood more than the thought of being bit.... Cool capture, tis a tough one to shoot. Still have the scratches on my 15mm too

Kelpfish 15 Posted September 19, 2005 It's like that at a lot of dive destinations. I made 15 night dives in Lembeh because someone on this list said, "DO NOT MISS ANY NIGHT DIVES". I took it for what it's worth....and was glad I did it. All others should not over look the unobvious Joe
ReefRoamer 1 Posted September 19, 2005 That night dive at Manuelita Rock is one of the most exciting in the world, simply amazing action. Don't miss this one at Cocos Island! Do it early in the week because you'll want to do it again ... and again!

Was scared of a flood more than the thought of being bit.... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hmm, if a shark comes for my D2X/Subal, not sure if I would give my arm or the camera first Hopefully the shark would be content with just my Ikelite strobe
TimG 62 Posted September 23, 2005 Wow! You must have looked back over your shoulder once or twice swimming away from that dive site. Cue Jaws music?
