Leslie 0 Posted October 4, 2005 Hmmm, maybe family Mithracidae, but awfully small for an id! Can you enlarge & sharpen just the crab? It looks like part of the legs may be flattened which might give us a clue as to genus. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
mjleblanc 0 Posted October 4, 2005 Unfortunately, trying to enlarge beyond this one, doesn't improve the resolution. If it helps, the crab did appear to have bits of coral adhering to it's body, although drifting by and trying to photograph this guy didn't lend itself to a better shot at the time !
