Sony Announces Alpha 7R V Camera
Sony has announced the Alpha 7R V full frame mirrorless camera. It has a 61.0 MP sensor paired with a new AI-based image recognition system. This offers “rea- time” subject recognition of animals and insects. For video, it offers 8K 24/25p video, 4K video oversampled from 6.2K without binning, a high-efficiency MPEG-H HEVC/H.265 codec, and 10-bit 4:2:2 recording.
