Sea&Sea has announced details and renderings of their forthcoming MDX housing for the Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark II mirrorless camera. It features an aluminum construction and isa compatible with ML and NX ports (when used with an adaptor). The housing has an external port lock and a leak detector is available as an optional extra.
The MDX-EM5 MK II will be available from August 2015. Pricing is still to be confirmed.

SEA&SEA announces the upcoming release of the newest addition to SEA&SEA’s mirrorless class family: the MDX-EM5 MK ll Underwater Housing for the Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark ll Mirrorless Digital Camera. To manage the essential controls of the Olympus OM-D EM5 Mark ll, this precision engineered housing has SEA&SEA Housing’s fundamental features including ergonomically re-designed levers, a corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy body, and a movable focus and zoom gear.
The Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark ll Mirrorless Digital Camera has significantly improved features for underwater photographers including an upgraded electronic viewfinder, which now has a 2.36 million dot LCD panel. For videographers, Olympus now offers focus peaking and an upgraded frame rate (60 fps) and bitrate (77 Mbps) with both ALL-l and IBP recording modes.
