Wetpixel Live: TTL or Manual
In general, underwater photographers have two options when it comes to controlling the output of their strobes to obtain a pleasing exposure. The first of these, TTL, uses an electronic process that meters and then automatically provides the correct amount of light, while the second relies on the photographer adjusting the strobes’ output manually. Alex Mustard and Adam Hanlon give their personal perspectives on which is the best option to chose.

Nauticam is shipping its housing for the Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark III. The NA-EM1III housing features a lever control for AEL/AFL button, five optic port for flash triggering, and uses the N85 port system.

RIP Max Benjamin
On the morning of Wednesday, 15 July 2020, Max Benjamin, the founder and owner of Walindi Plantation Resort passed away in Cairns after a battle with cancer. Jayne Jenkins and Don Silcock, both of whom knew Max well, kindly share their memories and experiences with one of the pioneers of diving in Papua New Guinea. The Wetpixel community’s thoughts are with his family and many friends around the globe.
