Book documents the rise of 3D imaging in marine archeology

The Coastal Research Library has published a book detailing “The Rise of 3D in Maritime Archeology.” It documents the history and importance of the developing 3D technology in sonar, laser, optical and other sensor-based technologies as a study tool in marine archeology. This includes photogrammetry, the use of Global Information Systems and 3D modeling software.
