Filmmaker Martin Dohrn has helped create a special camera, the Ammonite Starlight Camera, in order to film the underwater spectacle of bioluminescence.

Dohrn has been specializing in filming bioluminescence for 25 years. Approximately 80 percent of ocean species have the ability to make light.
