Gates Underwater Products has announced the imminent release of their housings for Arri Alexa cameras. One model will fit Arri EV and XT models whilst another will be for the Arri XT Plus. Gates supports over PL mount lenses with their Lens Gear Drive system.

The housings will be available from quarter 4 this year at prices to be confirmed.

Gates Underwater Products announces new ALEXA Underwater Housing

Gates family of durable, “bulletproof” digital cinema housings now includes the Arri Alexa cameras.

Consistent with other Gates cinema housings, the ALEXA comprises many recognizable features:

The Gates ALEXA housing comes in two versions: ALEXA XT housing for the Arri Alexa EV (classic) and Alexa XT cameras; and the ALEXA XT PLUS housing for the Alexa XT Plus camera. Each housing version was designed for ideal control layout, making underwater operation easy.
