Support the California Assembly Bill 376 to ban shark fin sale in CA
Wetpixel supports the California State Assembly Bill 376, which bans the possession, sale, trade and distribution of shark fin in California. This bill, introduced by Assembly Members Paul Fong and Jared Huffman, moves to end one of the largest markets for shark fin outside of Asia. We ask Californian members to take the time to write to that Assembly Members in their district, the state Senators Boxer and Feinstein and also Governor Jerry Brown to support this bill.
This bill will follow Hawaii’s landmark ban of shark fin last year and will galvanize other states to move to remove shark fin trade in the US. Please help support this important bill! To find your Assembly Member in your district, here is a list:
