  1. There is one thing though with these batteries (eneloops) that you have to keep in mind. Use smart chargers that prevents over or under charging. I had an issue once where i had charged several eneloops on different chargers (not smart) and one of my strobes stopped functioning. After trying to figure this out for a while a pro-underwater photographer pointed out that if the batteries used were not all equally charged there can be an issue. As the strobe was under warranty Inon replaced the same without giving the reason why this happened. Here is what they wrote: When the camera battery is low , the triger signal from camera is not recognized on Z240 strobe, Z240 recongnize it as "noise" And it cause some circuit trouble. Also dual sync cable loss the signal power, and the reason for this trouble. For the resolution Please use single cable http://www.uwdigitalcamera.com/store/product.php?productid=16204&cat=276&page=1 And to connect second strobe, please use slave optical cable from the main Z240 to sub Z240 http://www.uwdigitalcamera.com/store/product.php?productid=16438&cat=271&page=2 INON said Single cable, it doesn't loss the signal power. A charger such as or similar to this is highly recommended : https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1183371-REG/ansmann_1001_0006_us_powerline_8_battery_charger.html Of course this probably applies to all batteries i guess. Just added my two bits for what its worth. Diggy https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1183371-REG/ansmann_1001_0006_us_powerline_8_battery_charger.html

  8. Do check this page http://www.inon.jp/products/strobe/z240/exterior.html And then see if there is some issue with the advanced cancel circuit switch. It should be pushed in and locked. There may also sometimes be an issue with the magnet inside. This could be the problem. Diggy

  16. Hi Guys, Does anyone have any experience with shooting 360 degree underwater video ? And if so what are the best options ? There are some really expensive ones out there i know such as the Abyss but are there some that are reasonably priced and get decent footage ? I need to take some footage for a project. Thanks for any advice and help. Diggy
  17. It is very important to use a charger that can charge each battery equally. There have been issues with some strobes where each has not been charged equally. I had issues twice due to this and had to send the strobe to Japan. Of course they never gave the proper reason why the strobe malfunctioned but a fellow pro photographer friend pointed out the reason. So i now use this charger : https://www.jaycar.c...-ni-mh/p/MB3551 Eneloops are your best bet Pro's or the white ones. Diggy
