  1. Oops, a typo on my email (Yes, I have too many email addresses). Email me at picpicpic3@yahoo.com or message me on ebay (I'm picpicpic on ebay) Larry
  2. I've listed a number of UW Photography items on Ebay. The auctions end next Sunday evening , 11/24. Sea & Sea 5-pin dual Sync Cord/N 03470 ultralight arms and clamps, two 8 inch arms and 2 standard clamps Aquatica Super 100 Degree Wide Angle Lens, 67mm threads INON UCL-165 M67 Close-up Lens 10Bar housing for Panasonic Lumix LX5 You can find these at: http://www.ebay.com/sch/picpicpic/m.html?_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1 Contact me at picpicpic@yahoo.com Thanks Larry
  3. I own 4 8" Ultralight Arms (part number DB-08). I'd love to trade 2 or 3 of them for 5 inch or 3 inch arms. My underwater photo interests have shifted to more macro. And I have a smaller camera/housing setup than I had when I bought the arms. The arms that I would trade are in great shape. The gaskets are clean with no nicks in them. The arms have been with me on around 150 dives and are 4 years old. Thanks Larry
  4. I am looking for a better battery for my Nikon Coolpix 995 (in an Aquatica housing). I have used the Nikon battery (EN-EL1) in the past and have had some low battery issues on the second dive. My next couple of dive trips will require a battery to last 2 long dives. Has anyone tried the third party batteries for the coolpix line. Like the Poweron 2000? It claims to last longer. I'll also gladly take any hints on managing this limited resource on a dive.
  5. I have used Shutterfly and have been very happy with them. I have only done 4x6 adn 5x7 prints so far. Their 5x7 prints are only .99. Their web interface and upload process are good. I have had slight color shifts on a few of my underwater prints, but nothing terrible. I do recommend cropping your images before uploading. Crop them to a 4x6 aspect ratio using PS or whatever software you have.
  6. Fellow A995 owners, what are you using for a dual tray with the A995? I want to order some Ultralight arms (to use with 2 YS-90DX) but can't tell if the ULC tray will work. I don't really want a handle on the right side. I saw a picture of rstark's rig on this site and I think it had a ULC short tray (model #?). What are my options. Thanks Larry
  7. I am assembling my first digital system; Nikon CP995, Aquatica A995 and 2 Sea&Sea YS-90DX strobes. The housing has one bulkhead connector (5 pin Nikonos) and what appears to be an optional second connector that is capped off. Assuming that I could get another connector put in here. Would it be better to have 2 single sync cords or one "Y" sync cord? I know the "Y" would be more expensive ( > $300, yikes!). Are there other pros and cons that I'm not aware of? Thanks Larry
