  4. Just got back from a cruise to Honduras, Belize and Cozumel.... Dives were great at all 3 stops. I had dove Honduras 2 times prior but was my first time in Belize and Cozumel. These were shot with a Sony RX 100 M2 in a Nauticam housing with a 1800 lumen video light. These were also pulled straight from the camera and uploaded through my phone. No editing as of now. First was Honduras. Also I was with my family. My dad, uncle, aunt and cousin were with me on the Honduras and Cozumel dives. Just my dad with me in Belize. First, Honduras, through Anthony's Key resort. These were Honduras and shot by my aunt with a sea life HD Belize http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160314/b97dd72ea00e9eac906688d1f0f8b80f.jpg http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160314/d3dd90a4b7efa07aa89f3bef046f832a.jpg http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160314/6510ca7ae3aa75e5c80d5ea5e4427d7e.jpg http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160314/ed962dd771de020aa312c8f5b114e405.jpg Cozumel http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160314/0018713e5a7c7d9a2664edf736232078.jpg http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160314/af56891f355c78bf181e4573957ddb22.jpg http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160314/a2d2f90ed197b68443e50519aa08433e.jpg http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160314/59ec70a18b05711100b786d99a726492.jpg http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160314/073d511460669a8dd4968e68e410c6d0.jpg http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160314/b7fe27769536d699445d053e8a9ef964.jpg http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160314/43942e31f29a98211bfdae3539ebfb70.jpg Hope you enjoy. I know a flash would be a huge help and I will have one eventually! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I have a dive buddy that has offered to sell me a Inon-Strobe-S2000-STTL for $200. It's not new but in working condition. Not sure how old it is. I have a Sony RX 100 M2 in a Nauticam housing, and currently only have one handle and one arm with a 1800 lumen video light on that arm. I have done a little reading on strobes and know I can get a Sea and Sea for a little over $400 I believe. I have a dive trip coming up first week of February and will be my first time under water with my camera setup. I know a flash is needed to really make some good photos, my question is, will this strobe do good for macro and distant subjects? Eventually I hope to have a wide angle and a macro for the camera. Any input is welcomed. I am a newby. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. This is the best option I have seen yet! Thank you, may go with this due to lack of time to do a paracord setup. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I am using Windows 10, sorry, should have put that info out in the first post. I don't have a GoPro yet. Just my Sony, but plan to get one eventually. Got several videos from my camera I would like to upload and work on now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I just picked up a Sony RX100 M2 and it does both video and stills. I want to be able to edit length, stitch together videos, add music and maybe some text to the videos. Just looking for a software that would be very user friendly for this. I plan to mount a GoPro or similar to the top of my Nauticam housing so I have constant video of my dives to edit down. Thanks for the advice! Y'all are always great! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Here is my setup as of now. Gonna put some below the surface floats on the arm and between the housing and handle just to get some positive lift, but not near enough to float it all. For now this will have to do till I can get a flash setup for the right side at some point. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  12. Ordered this for the end that will attach to my BCD. May use this for the housing side also, or like stated above, get a stainless shackle similar to this. I will use these to make small connections between my arm and body and to tie the unit all into its self. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I am planning to do very similar. She ( the GF ) is planning to do a round braid just under arms length. May put a stainless shackle on the end that will attach to the camera and the other end will be a carabiner. That way it's a solid mount to the camera and a easier to detach part on my end. 14. I spoke with my GF and she is gonna tackle making me a tether! Got some cord ordered and some stainless carabiners with the locking cylinder. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I am new to underwater photography and just getting started. I have a Sony RX100 II, a Nauticam housing and a A.N.O 1800 lumen video light. I got a buddy that has a flash I may be getting from him. Not 100% sure what I am going to use for a tray and arms. When I ordered the housing right after Christmas it had a deal on Blue Water that it came with a tray of some sort. It all comes in Tuesday and I will know what I got fully. My question is, I want a feather of some sort to attach the setup to my BC when I need both hands free. I am looking to see what is suggested. I dove with a fella once that had a fairly large setup and he had a paracord tether with a swivel snaps on each end. Is there a product made specifically for this? Or is there a recommendation I can get from y'all? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Hello, new to underwater photography. Just picked up a Sony RX11II and will get to use it for the first time on a cruise in February. Can't wait!
  17. Got a Sony RX100 II for Christmas. Going to order a Nauticam case for it today. Will be running a ANO 1800 video light till I can get some knowledge in flashes and get me one.... Or two... The first week of February I go on a cruise it Honduras, Belize, and Cozumel and will be my first time to get it under water. I am excited to be starting underwater photography. I am by no means a pro... But I have enjoyed shooting stuff on land for many years. Had a Nikon D40, then a Nikon D5000. Sold my D500 to get this started. Diving big bit me around 2 years ago and I can't get enough. I appreciate any knowledge that is passed on to me from y'all! Here are some shots from my land photography days.
