I do wonder what impact your Aquatica port and the Saga adapter might be having on your results also. Is the camera lens flush to the back of the port glass?

Hi all, Another vote for the sharpness of the Nikon 105VR this time on the D850. Very fast and accurate focusing using AF-C 3D much of the time on the rear button. I generally found that I needed to be around F11 and smaller simply because the Retra Pro X I was using would over-light the subjects on minimum power. The Retra Pro X does have an option of low power which drops the power of the flash which I will use in future with wider apertures. You should be able to just get parts of the vacuum system fixed at your local service centre rather than having to buy a complete system.

Hi Miguel If you look in the manual, there is a page on setting up button lock which helps a lot. It is not as ergonomic as the previous cameras but once muscle memory is in place, it becomes intuitive. A

The question is whether the lens will physically fit through the 30mm mini extension which I doubt as I know the 12-40 doesn't (and this is narrower than the 12-60). The mount on the 7" dome is narrower aluminium rather than the standard plastic bayonet on the mini extensions with lock. A Ibid the 8-18mm. I don't think it will fit through the mini extension ring.

The 18812 has a wider rear opening for physically wider lenses like the Canon 11-24.

I'd be inclined to get the Zen 100mm glass Zen dome for the Tokina and the Tokina and teleconverter. I'd also consider the macro port 60 with a 20mm extension. You can then use both the 60mm AF-S lens (with the macro port 60) and the 105mm VR lens (with macro port 60 and 20mm extension ring). This 20mm extension will be useful when using the teleconverter with the Tokina. Let me know if you need any more help. Alex

Yes, I tried the new Nauticam Universal Cables which are very high spec.

For info, we found that this doesn't work with Red LED fibre optic triggers. I'd be careful with low quality fibre cables too, check first.
