millra 0 Posted June 11, 2015 I'm located in Nagoya Japan, and just purchased two brand new Inon D2000's at the local Dive store called MIC21 You can Google Nagoya Dive Store MIC21 and find their site, numbers etc. But.... a new Inon D2000 strobe here costs 41,500 JPY which is about USD $ 344. I've never seen them anywhere at that price. They do charge tax if you live here, not sure what their International shipping and/or tax policy is and their English is not the greatest, so you'll have to be a little patient in dealing with them. Thought this would help some folks out that are in the market for new Inon D2000's. I think the low price is a combination of made in Japan, sold in Japan and very much the current weak Japanese Yen. Magrone 9 Posted June 12, 2015 Why settle for d2000 when you can go z240 for a little more at diver vision and get it shipped world wide. I find it odd that people on this site are buying used inon strobes for the price of new ones .... http://www.divervision.com/inon-z-240-strobe-type4-456212143251.html
millra 0 Posted June 14, 2015 Thanks, but this post was to help folks find a cheap, NEW (Not used as you state) D2000 at ~ $ 344 as opposed to your link Z240's at $
Magrone 9 Posted June 14, 2015 You totally misunderstood me. My point is that People buy used inons on wetpixel and elswhere for the price of new ones in Asia. I just gave a link on how to get inon's flagship strobe brand new with warranty for $530 vs $800 at Backscatter or American retailers. Sea and sea ys d1 is $500 NEW as well. http://www.divervision.com/strobes/seaandsea-ys-d1-strobe-03114.html. I have no affiliation with diver vision but have bought lots of stuff there over the years. Their customer service is good.
