Recsea has announced their housing for the Sony RX0 II compact video camera. Constructed of aluminum with a depth rating of 150m (492 feet) the housing has the company’s Secure-Latch closure and offers full access to camera functions.
Recsea announces housing for Sony AX700
Recsea has announced details of their housing for the Sony AX700 and the SD version of the AX100. Available in two versions, both feature menu access via infrared, a vacuum system, and an M78 port mount, while the Pro version ships with a housed 4.1 inch SD monitor.

West Papua wins Global Conservation Hero Award
The Bird’s Head Seascape reports that Indonesia’s West Papua Province (which includes Raja Ampat, Triton Bay and Cenderwasih Bay) was awarded the Global Conservation Hero Award by Conservation International at the organization’s annual gala at Milk Studios in Los Angeles, California on 8 June. In March this year, the West Papua parliament approved legislation that will make West Papua the country’s first-ever conservation province.
Call for entries: Think Pink 2019
The 2019 Think Pink Photo contest is open for entries. The competition seeks pink themed images and the proceeds are donated to charities and projects supporting the fight against breast cancer. The deadline for entries is 12 July.
