OneUW ships Y-Dual Sync cable
OneUW has announced that they are now shipping their Y-Dual Synchro Cable. Available with either N5 or S6 connectors on the housing end, the cables allow users to use fire dual OneUW 160X strobes in i- or eTTL modes. Strobe end connections are S6.
Full Schedule: UN World Oceans Day 2020
Come and join the United Nations on 8 June for a full day of online discussion, imagery, and motivation aiming to “raise global awareness of the benefits humankind derives from the ocean and our individual and collective duty to use its resources sustainably.” AT 12:40 pm, Ellen Cuylaerts will announce the results of the 2020 UN World Oceans Day Photo Competition, and the event will culminate with a live celebration of the oceans by musicians from around the world.
Final Call for entries: Share Our Air 2020
Dive into the Pink’s “Share Our Air” Underwater Imaging Competition’s deadline for entries is 5 June at 12am EST. Offering two categories, “Togetherness” and “Divers” all proceeds and donations to the event are being used to support a comprehensive investigation on the effect COVID-19 infection has on lung function in divers, to be pursued by Duke Diving Medicine and the Divers Alert Network.
DxO releases Nik Collection 3
DxO has announced the release of the Nik Collection 3. The updated version offers a newly designed Nik Selective Tool, a plugin launcher for Adobe Photoshop, and new quick edit tools. Nik Collection 3 By DxO has a new non-destructive workflow, integrating with Adobe Lightroom Classic users, as well as an eighth geometric correction plugin, Perspective Efex.
Nimar ships housing for Panasonic G90/G91 and G95 cameras
Nimar has announced its new housing for the Panasonic G90/G91/G95 mirrorless camera. The polycarbonate housing is compatible with the company’s NIM-108 port system and ships with a vacuum leak detection system and LED flash trigger.
Ikelite offers tray and handles for Paralenz camera
Ikelite has announced two tray and handle accessory kits for Paralenz (and other) dive/action cameras. It has a V-wing profile and the (optional) handles can be removed for travel or configuration. The tray has multiple mounting points for handles, lighting, or other accessories.

Welcome Hippocampus nalu
A paper published in the journal ZooKeys describes a new species of pygmy seahorse. Named Hippocampus nalu or the Sodwana pygmy seahorse, it was found on Two Mile Reef at Sodwana Bay, South Africa. It is the first pygmy seahorse discovered in Africa and the Indian Ocean.
